Box XYZ, (the P.O Box). The let\u00adter did not men\u00adtion that we had been con\u00adsid\u00adered as late sub\u00admis\u00adsion. If we knew the imme\u00addi\u00adate sub\u00admis\u00adsion of the cheque is nec\u00ades\u00adsary, we would imme\u00addi\u00adate\u00adly send thecheque to ABC Insur\u00adance by hand, and inform our case to you, the Manda\u00adto\u00adry prov\u00adi\u00addent Fund Schemes Author\u00adi\u00adty (MPF Scheme Author\u00adi\u00adty). In fact, ABC Insur\u00adance had the most sig\u00adnif\u00adi\u00adcant lia\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty on this issue.<\/o:p><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

They acts as the trustee of our com\u00adpa\u00adny, they should have the respon\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty of check\u00ading the valid\u00adi\u00adty of ourcheque, and take imme\u00addi\u00adate action if any prob\u00adlem aris\u00ades. They should noti\u00adfy us by phone imme\u00addi\u00adate\u00adly, once they found the cheque was not signed. If we were informed by phone, we could pre\u00adpare the payable chequeim\u00adme\u00addi\u00adate\u00adly and send the cheque to ABC Insur\u00adance by hand to pre\u00advent any late sub\u00admis\u00adsion. How\u00adev\u00ader, ABC Insur\u00adance did not do that. Instead of noti\u00adfy\u00ading us by phone imme\u00addi\u00adate\u00adly, they mailed the un-signed cheque to us on 16th August, and we could only receive the unsigned cheque on 17th or 18th August, which was already 8 to 9 days after the con\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adtion day. Although ABC Insur\u00adance claimed the valid\u00adi\u00adty of cheque was sup\u00adposed to be checked by Citibank, they should not com\u00adplete\u00adly rely on Citibank to do so. They did not per\u00adform their own respon\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty though they were the trustee of our com\u00adpa\u00adny. As the afore\u00adsaid, they have the respon\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty on thecheque check\u00ading and noti\u00adfy\u00ading us imme\u00addi\u00adate\u00adly. More than that, they did not noti\u00adfy us by phone once they received the noti\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtion from Citibank. Thus, we knew noth\u00ading until the remind\u00ading let\u00adter arrived in our office.<\/o:p><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/o:p><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

As a sup\u00adple\u00adment of facts, we had suf\u00adfi\u00adcient fund in our bank account that we nei\u00adther need nor have the inten\u00adtion to delay the pay\u00adment. The rea\u00adson caus\u00ading the un-signed cheque was the uncon\u00adscious\u00adness to check the sig\u00adna\u00adture by our sum\u00admer job intern instead of our unwill\u00ading\u00adness to pay.<\/o:p><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/o:p><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

As afore\u00adsaid, we have no inten\u00adtion to delay the pay\u00adment of our employee\u2019s MPF. ABC Insur\u00adance noti\u00adfied us via mail, which was not an appro\u00adpri\u00adate method to deal with our case. We would have been noticed ear\u00adli\u00ader but ABC Insur\u00adance failed to do so. We did not accept this result and object to the sur\u00adcharge pay\u00adment. Please kind\u00adly ver\u00adi\u00adfy with our trustee and your kind con\u00adsid\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion in this case would be very much appre\u00adci\u00adat\u00aded.<\/o:p><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n
